Conditions Treated

Athletic cultivation
Acupuncture has long been used to improve the health and functionality of the body, specifically in situations such as martial arts, dance, and sports. Check out this excellent study on college students training strength and gains they got with regular acupuncture: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11026675/

Recent and Chronic Pain
Acupuncture has most commonly been used to treat pain in all forms. It can regulate the pathways in the brain, moderate the release of chemicals that trigger pain receptors, and cause the release of endorphins. Here is an excellent update on the many ways acupuncture can be used for pain relief: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11404884/

Neuro-Unique Conditions
Frequently, uniquely structured brains lead to a struggle to calibrate to the interior or exterior world. Often experiencing issues with digestion, sleep, or perception of where the body is in space, activities of daily living can be impacted. By activating acupuncture points with needles or with non-needle techniques I am able to help train the brain to more accurately read the signals from the body. Please schedule a Neuro-Unique Consult with me if you are interested in acupuncture for neuro-unique individuals, so that I may appropriate place you based on stimulation tolerances.
